The bilingual (Louisiana Creole and English) Creole Carnival Sugar Jar was inspired by the French creole architecture of Louisiana as well as my Louisiana Creole Culture.
10.5"h x 6"w
This piece was created from stoneware red clay that has been wheel thrown and altered. Then it was hand painted with lead free underglazes and glazes. Finally, it was high fired for durability.
This is a functional piece of sculptural art.
